Bollywood is a massive storehouse of all emotions possible. Happiness and joy, love and romance, passion and hatred, action and horror. There is a genre for everybody to watch and enjoy. The ones that touch us the most deeply and leave a lasting impression are the ones that we remember for years to come. Based on a very sensitive topic of Dyslexia. The movie stars Aamir Khan who plays a teacher who comes to the aid of an eight-year-old boy portrayed by Darsheel Safary.
One of the biggest blockbusters of its times, the movies is about a man named avatar played by Rajesh Khanna who takes retirement from his job in the hope that his sons would take care of him and his wife in their old age. This is a sure shot emotional drama supported by Shabana Azmi as the wife and Sachin as the loyal servant who helps the aged couple.
- 3 Idiots
A very challenging movie that struck a chord with most Indian families where a child’s profession is seen as a do or die situation regardless of the child’s interest. Starring Aamir Khan, R Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor and Boman Irani the movie is very refreshing anytime and everytime you watch.
An iconic movie starring Amitabh Bachchan and Rajesh Khanna. The movie is about two friends, one of them is dying of cancer and how he brings life and happiness into the lives of those surrounding him.
- Do Aankhen Barah Haath
A classic movie starring V Shantaram. The movie is about 6 notorious criminals who are taken by a jail warden to reform them into better human beings. The movie was very inspirational and is also the only movie to have won a Golden Globe Award.
Starring Kamal Hasan and Sridevi the movie had brilliant performances by the actors. A must watch for all emotional buffs.
The movie was about the relationship between an illegitimate child and his stepmother. The movie had stellar performances by Naseeruddin Shah, Shabana Azmi and Jugal Hansraj.
