1. The Net Top
- A cute Bow
- Chalk and ruler
- A plain Black T-shirt
- A fancy fabric like a net piece
Take a plain black T-shirt. Using chalk and a ruler, draw a line on it. Draw this line below the sleeves. Keeping the T-shirt on a flat surface and cut it on the marked line. After cutting you are left with a hollow cylinder of black cloth after the sleeves are removed. Keep a different cloth such that it forms the sleeve and the chest of the top. Once you have placed the cloth, you can cut the neck as per your desire, preferably round. Carefully sew the ends of the cloth to the Black t-shirt which was kept ready. Stitch the bow so nicely exactly at the place where the new material starts on the chest. Great, you have a cute top ready to wear.
2. Reflecting Collar Top
- Old CDs
- A Sleeveless shirt with Collar
- A bowl of water to boil
Take a bowl and boil water in it. Remove the bowl from the stove and let it rest for 5 minutes. Add the old CDs in the hot bowl of water and let it stay for a few minutes. After 3-5 minutes, the CDs have become softer to cut. The CD should be cut from one side and separate the transparent plastic layer that is present on one side of the CD. You are left with a shiny holographic surface. Cut this leftover CD into triangles of equal size and dimension. Take a sleeveless shirt and paste these triangles on the collar of the shirt in a random sequence. You can make this top ready immediately.
