Working out at home is a convenient option! At home, you get your own space and comfort zone. The best workout that can happen at home is for legs for which you don’t require any types of equipment all you need is a little space, a small object which is a little higher than the floor and a ton of motivation. In gym, the most skipped day is leg day many of us very conveniently skip it without realizing its importance. Having strong legs gives your personality an overall boost. A person with a proper body and toned strong legs is much more attractive than the who is fit only with a particular part.
Leg exercises don’t necessarily require types of equipment as one can perform the following exercises at home that don’t require any equipment.
- SQUAT and JUMP
Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart. Then do the regular squats and then engage your core properly and jump as high as you can. to complete one rep while landing performs another squat. Doing it would improve your leg strength and engage your core muscles.
- Side Lunges
Stand with your leg apart. Keep your leg at a distance so that you can bend properly. Now with your feet at a distance and bend your knee and push yourself towards it. This would tone your inner and outer portion of the thigh.
- Reverse Lunges with knees lift
Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart. take a leg back and bend over the knees creating a proposal pose. Then on your way back lift the bended knee which touched the ground to stomach level.
- Step up
For this, you probably require a stool that is not much higher than the floor. Place it against the wall so that it doesn’t move. Then just step up and down on it like climbing the stairs.
