Metabolism is something which is responsible for maintaining living of life. Basically, it is a chemical process which produces energy from anything a human eat or drink. Metabolism is the busiest one. Many people blame their weight issues on their metabolism. Now, as people have their own beliefs there are certain myths that people believe.
- Skipping Breakfast would slow down the metabolism
Well, metabolism works just as you do. As soon as you hit the bed your metabolism stops its work and would start working again when you have your breakfast. So skipping breakfast would not have a big effect on your metabolism or weight loss. - Eating more meals
During school, maths was not our best friends. Most of the students understand it till alphabets we not involved. Anyways, something same happens when it comes to proportion it. Here it alphabets are replaced by the nutrients. eating more meals in a day can more likely cause you overeating. - Eating spicy food burns fat
NO! eating spicy food will not burn fat but will cause a sensation of burn anywhere between your abdomen and throat, it is known as an Acid attack. Consuming spicy food can increase your heart rate which can cause heart attack and also raises your body temperature. We are not saying you to completely cut off the spicy food just limit its intake. - Skinner people have a better metabolism
Body fat is not caused only because of the slow metabolism, there are many other reasons too. Studies have found that in many cases skinny people had a slower metabolism than the ones who were a bit heavy. The fact is Fat burning involves many other things too like muscles also play an important part in the process of burning fat.
