Before becoming a mother you were just a girl who was someone’s daughter, wife, and daughter-in-law (I know we have a lot more relations but I am mentioning only the most important ones!). After becoming a mother that girl changes into a woman. Holding your baby for the first time is the most indescribable feeling. In that one moment, you go through like thousands of emotions which you never felt before. With all these emotions and happy moments it also brings weight gain. - Our lifestyle completely changes after that.
- Increase in stress levels
- Change in eating patterns
- Sleep deprivation
- no exercise

So to avoid this weight gain here are simple ways to avoid weight gain without any pain.
- Walking time
Post delivery, mothers are recommended complete bed rest especially when they had c-section. This is to avoid any pain or causing any other problem. When you start getting back to your old routine after bed rest then add a walk in it. Don’t walk a mile on the very first day. Rather, in the beginning, take baby steps and walk for 10min then gradually increase the time.
- Breast Feeding
Doctors recommend that baby should be breastfed for least 2-3months and then give them dairy products. You may not know that breastfeeding helps you lose approximately 600-800 calories. So till the time you feeding your baby your weight will be in control but make sure you do something when you stop so that weight does not increase rapidly.
