He had written the first draft in the year 1997 while from 2009 to 2010 he came up with the 700 pages of the storyboard for the film as well. Being optioned by the seven major production companies who later backed out, the movie was then shot first in the year 2010 after Shah and Barve edited it well. It was then again written and reshot in May 2015.

They find a place where they experience a few of the paranormal activities. On finding the wife realizes that ghost is of a woman with whom her husband had been dating behind her back. In spite of all this when the ghost tries to take the spirit of her husband, there comes an Indian plot where she fights with complete dedication and wins him back again.
The movie is said to be an adaptation of What Lies Beneath which was also dubbed in Tamil and Telugu. Both the actors were nominated for the best performance and the movie became the second highest-grossing film of the year. The debut actress of Malini Sharma in the movie was totally amazing while Nadeem Shravan warned many awards and nominations too.
