1 out of 10 first date turns out to be as smooth as silk. In most of the cases either it turns out to be a disaster or boring (which I guess is much worse!). This primarily happens because people on their first date go through the flood of emotions, you are happy because finally someone asked you out and on the other hand you are nervous because you know you are a messy panda who will mess up. The maximum time on the date is spent in silence because you guys go out of topics. So to make your “the first date” a little bit interesting and to increase the chance of second one here are some question you could ask and answer yourself (If they ask you the same)
- What is the first thing you notice in a person?
This would help you find out what they noticed in you. As for the answer, it could be eyes, outfit or nature (this answer varies from person to person)
- One thing you can’t stand?
I would personally recommend everyone to ask this question because this would help you get a clear idea about what they hate.
- What do you see in a person before getting close to someone?
Well, for this they might give you an absurd look or they may say that it happens I don’t plan and all but trust me there is always a reason. One cannot get close to someone just like that.
- What kind of date do you prefer?
This could be lunch dates or dinner dates or indoor dates or outdoor. It all depends in what sense you ask.
- Do you smoke?
If they ask you this question just be honest and answer. If you do; tell them because if they find out later they might believe that you are a liar.
- what is one thing that you believe in most?
Knowing someone’s belief is actually something that could bring someone close. This gives you somewhat idea about what they think about certain things. Plus this question could make you guys talk for a long time.
- One thing you don’t believe in?
Same as above. In addition, you ask them why do they don’t believe in something.
- When it comes to traveling what do you prefer, the solo trip or with family and friends?
When it comes to traveling people love to talk about it. They share their experiences, stories, from the most amazing places they have been to the worst places etc. basically it is a topic you can go on and on without getting bored.
- Weirdest rumor they have heard about themselves?
This is a personal but a funny one to ask.
- If there is a second date how you would like that to be?
This question will give you a clear idea of that person and if he/she wants to see you again or not. Perks are; it will save you from spending time in wondering whether you two will meet again or not.
These things make your “the first date” a little bit interesting and will certainly increase the chances of second one super fast.
